Michael Lehmann joined 33 St James’s in 2011 and is based in Germany. Michael has over 25 years experience recruiting senior executives in Financial Services, Information Technology and Industry for positions based in Western Europe, predominately Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Additionally he provides succession planning advisory services for a range of international clients.
Michael was previously a Board Member and Head of Germany for Carre Orban & Partners, a leading European search firm based in Brussels, and Head of the German office for Russell Reynolds Inc. in Frankfurt for over six years. Prior to this he was the West Coast Managing Director of the German Industry and Trade Office in Los Angeles for six years and Head of Asia for the German Agricultural Marketing Board (CMA) in Tokyo for seven years.

Michael studied at the Technical University in Munich and the University of Bonn. He has a degree in Engineering and speaks fluent German, English and Japanese.
