Greg Conary has enjoyed a 35 year career in technology, automation and energy management.
Following senior roles at Invensys Greg was Chief of Staff to the CEO and led on the post-merger integration with Schneider Electric. He became the Senior Vice President of Strategy for Schneider Electric’s global industrial automation business. His final role was Head of Government Affairs, M&A, Innovation and Sustainability in the UK and Ireland. He led the UK delegation to COP26 and Schneider Electric was named the world’s most sustainable company by Corporate Knights in 2021.
Greg retired early following his long and successful career and is now focused on bringing his passions for sustainability, net zero, energy management and automation technologies to Non Executive roles and Consultancy in these areas. He is also a thought leader in the Industrial Internet of Things and digital transformation space and is a regular speaker for Green Business, Bloomberg NEF and many business fora.
Greg has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Southern Illinois and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of New Mexico.
Greg joined the Advisory Board of 33 St. James’s in 2022.
