Bruce Beringer is the Managing Director of Beringer Partners International. He executes search and management assessment mandates for corporations, law firms and regulatory bodies.

Bruce's assignments have encompassed lawyers and functional managers in private practice and in-house counsel, particularly in general commerce and financial services. He has also handled senior management projects pertaining to positions in a wide variety of industries based in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, all of Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle and Far East. He appears in a directory of the top 100 head-hunters in the world and is also widely known for Board Appraisal and strategic advice to clients.

Bruce practised international corporate law with a Wall Street firm for over 10 years before moving to London in 1984. He has worked in executive search for over 20 years, initially with Russell Reynolds and subsequently with Heidrick & Struggles, where he was Managing Partner Emerging Markets, Managing Director of the European Professional Services Practice and then Global Head of the Legal Speciality Practice.

He has a BA from the College of William and Mary, and a JD from Syracuse University. Bruce co-founded 33 St James's in 2003 and leads the Professional Services Practice.
